About Us

The LiveLovely Foundation was founded by 16 year old cancer patient, Charlie Lovely.  Charlie was diagnosed with Leukemia on Halloween 2008, the day after his 16th birthday.  During his stay in the hospital, Charlie decided that he would take a stand against cancer and created The LiveLovely Foundation.

The LiveLovely Foundation was established to raise funds and awareness for the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Survival Gap.  This gap refers to all people within the ages of 15-40, an age group that has not seen improvement in survival rates in more than 3 decades.  The LiveLovely Foundation raises funds for research projects focusing on improving care for adolescents and young adults.  This could significantly reduce the death rate for the people that fall into the AYA Gap, especially those who are diagnosed with more acute forms of cancer. LiveLovely is also passionate about childhood cancer and is always giving to individual children and their families to ease the burden this disease places on these tiny patients and their families.
